Home / Blog / Flowering update and expectation flower fields – 22 March 2018

It is time again for our second flowering update of the flower fields in the Bollenstreek. The real cold seems to be over and the flower fields are getting more and more color. The flower fields are still lagging behind the ‘normal’ bloom due to the cold still about 1 to 2 weeks. Yet there is more and more flowering in the Bulb Region.

Expectation

Upcoming weekend, changeable weather has been forecast. As a result, the bloom will continue at ‘normal’ pace. As soon as the sun comes through and the temperatures rise, it can quickly go with the blooms of the flowers. Keep an eye on our website and facebook page for the latest updates.

Keukenhof

Keukenhof has been opened today. Many types of blooming flowers can be admired at the indoor flower shows. Outside in the park, the first daffodils and crocuses are in bloom. We will also update the status of the flowers in Keukenhof in the next flowering update.

Flower Map
