Bicycle tour along the flower fields with local guide

 

A bike ride along the flower fields is the most popular way to enjoy blooming flowers. With a local guide you learn more about the area and you know for sure that you know where to find the most beautiful locations.

During a 2.5-hour bike ride, you will cycle along the extensive flower fields with a local guide. Along the way, alongside the colorful fields, you will also pass monuments such as Keukenhof Castle, ‘t Huys Dever, various museums and mills. An experienced local guide tells you everything about the origins of Keukenhof and the other sights in Lisse.

Including a visit to a tulip farm

Halfway through the bike tour there is a break at tulip farm De Tulperij. This is a unique location where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the flower fields. You can relax in the flower greenhouse for a cup of coffee / tea with a delicious Dutch stroopwafel or freshly baked apple pie (own costs). There are also toilets here.

Included in the biketour:

  • Duration: 2.5 hours (including a break).
  • Length: 10-15 kilometers.
  • Start time morning tour 10:00 am.
  • Start time afternoon tour 1:30 PM.
  • Starting location: Hotel De Engel. You can also have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink at this location.
  • Maximum number of participants is 14 people (no child seats or children’s bikes). A maximum of 6 additional participants can take their own bicycle.
  • The tour is only given in English and Dutch.
  • Cancellation is free up to 14 days in advance. No refund will be made within 14 days before the start of the tour.

Price of the guided bicycle tour

  • Costs bicycle tour including bicycle and helmet: € 35.00 per person.
  • Minimum number of participants is 3 people.
